files in tarball

Hi,

I'm looking through the list of file differences between the git repository
and the tarball.

1) The tarball contains
  maint.mk
but does not contain
  .x-sc_bindtextdomain
  .x-sc_copyright_check
  .x-sc_file_system
  .x-sc_m4_quote_check
  .x-sc_makefile_TAB_only_indentation
  .x-sc_makefile_path_separator_check
  .x-sc_prohibit_always_true_header_tests
  .x-sc_prohibit_atoi_atof
  .x-sc_prohibit_empty_lines_at_EOF
  .x-sc_prohibit_magic_number_exit
  .x-sc_prohibit_path_max_allocation
  .x-sc_prohibit_strcmp
  .x-sc_prohibit_strncpy
  .x-sc_prohibit_test_minus_ao
  .x-sc_prohibit_undesirable_word_seq
  .x-sc_space_tab
  .x-sc_trailing_blank
  .x-sc_two_space_separator_in_usage
  .x-sc_unmarked_diagnostics
  .x-sc_useless_cpp_parens
  cfg.mk
This makes no sense to me, since the latter files are included or read by
maint.mk.

2) The file
  pickles/gpt.pk
is missing from the tarball. See my previous mail.

3) The file
  pickles/README.dwarf
is missing from the tarball. It would be useful, since the dwarf pickles were
included in poke-2.1.tar.gz and poke-3.0.tar.gz.
