Here is what I was doing:

I already beat the tutorial yesterday. I played again today, to beat the
remaining two levels at the fork towards the end. I beat them, and then played
a few more levels. Then I clicked on the "Full Story" check box to see what it
does. I then read the story. And when it switched back to main screen, it
instead aborted.

I have so far been unable to reproduce this bug.
