[Paperclips-discuss] updates today

Today I've checked in the following:

- updates to the code to remove the reliance on Lisp like syntax for
  handling XML. All XML handling is done with GNUJAXP (I now use the
  DOM API for handling deployment descritors).

- new build system based on a tool called jarcompiler.


I have decided to shelve work on GCJ integration for a
while. Unfortunately GCJ is just not in a fit enough state to get
paperclips going.
