Hallo all, We have a problem with IR sensor I have not seen before. As IR sensors we are using FMA direct (+5V), because we had problems to buy IR sensors with +3.3V supply. In my last post I did ask if we could use FMA sensor without any resistor replacement. The answer was, a resistor replacement is (probably) not required and they should work fine in UK weather conditions. After we did try to calibrate IR we have got the following results in data link message window. The values int16 ir1 and int16 lateral are equal to -523, it is the same value we did set up in the airframe file to get other values to 0. As I know, it should be possible to see changes in the values int16 ir1 and int16 lateral, however they are stay constant all the time (during the calibration process and during IR sensors are not covered, not in the box). You can also see that the PFD in GCS window shows that the artificial horizon is turned by approximately 90°. It does not changes a lot if you move your hand in front of the sensors trying to change the signals. Have anybody had similar problems with this kind of sensors? Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
