[Pan-users] Auto-wrap wraps text at about 40 chars, when typing non english text...!

When composing a new post, if I write it in English, auto-wrap works 
just fine. If, however, I compose it in Greek, auto-wrap wraps at about 
40 characters! I have searched around for an option or something like 
this but found nothing. Any ideas?

This applies to both the latest stable (0.14.2) and devel (0.14.2.91)
