Follow-up Comment #32, bug#65312 (group octave):
The change from comment #16 just made a visual difference: icons appear on
some systems where they didn't appear before. No changes with respect to the
slow down. So, I wouldn't have expected that anything changed with respect to
Octave getting slow or stuck.
