From: Torsten Lilge
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #63230] Docking Command Window to the right side crashes Octave GUI and resets the GUI
Date: Fri, 28 Oct 2022 16:38:44 -0400 (EDT)

Update of bug #63230 (project octave):

                  Status:               Need Info => Confirmed

Follow-up Comment #15:

I can reproduce the crash on my old Win 7 system. I can force the crash by
reducing the width of the terminal widget with the following observations:

* The previous width must be quite large and the new one quite small (the
contained text would be truncated)
* It does not matter whether the width is reduced by dragging the terminal to
a new position that leads to much smaller width or by moving the vertical
border of the terminal
* It does not matter whether the terminal widget is dragged to the left or to
the right.
* The old and the new height must be large
* Dragging the terminal between some vertically stacked widgets does not cause
a crash although the new width is quite small (but the height is small, too)

@Milos: Can you confirm these observations? Maybe the crash only happens only
on your second system because the terminal is not sufficiently large on the
first, smaller one?
