Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55725 (project octave):

This fix works for me on the stable branch, I have no problem leaving this as
is for the Octave 5 release.

On the default branch I may look at a mass change to make all sprintf calls
that make command strings consistent. I was just asking to be sure that this
would be safe on Windows.
