Follow-up Comment #26, bug #53174 (project octave):

Markus, thanks for testing. Since the style sheet approach does not help to
solve the issue with the background color of some graphic objects, I suggest
to push the patch for changing the overall style with the consequence that the
issue mentioned above will pop up again on windows and won't be fixed on other
platforms for the moment.
