[Mldonkey-bugs] utf8 problem

Hi,

I use mldonkey on a Fedora box, and it crashed after a while, with these
error messages:

[... the same error many times...]

I compiled using ocaml 3.08.3

I asked on the lablGTK mailing list and they told me to fix the app.
because GTK+ requires that strings are encoded in UTF-8. The app
must do the conversion. They told me to see Glib.Convert.locale_to_utf8
too.

But I am 100% dumb in coding for the moment. What can I do to have it
working on my Fedora?
