Summary:  Cancel doesn't work after set_brothers

Original Submission:  If you use set_brothers on some files, cancel doesn't 
work anymore for that files. You will get an error message "Exception 
Invalid_argument("equal: functional value") in file_cancel" for each file you 
have used set_brothers on.
