Which Ocaml version are you using?
AFAIK 3.08 can´t be used with that CVS version.
But anyway, CVS 2-5-22 is outdated, please use 2-5-28, you
can get a CVS tarball from my page:

There you will also find links to pre-compiled Mac OSX binaries.
