Please try mldonkey-2-5-16-r8 ebuild which uses Ocaml 3.08.0 when it becomes 
available: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57956

I tried building today's mldonkey CVS version and it fails too on an amd64 (it 
segfaults a while after that, gdb backtrace attached). Built with ocaml-3.07+2, 
all by hand.
