Yes, it has two web UIs, but I have to admit I never used the old one;-) So, in 
the old web UI there is no room for another button but you can enter the 
command "force_download" in the commandline field above the buttons.

I reopened this bug report for further discussions.

Summary:  Force Download with the Web UI

Original Submission:  If I try downloading a file which is already downloaded, 
it displays "use force download". However there is no such button or feature 
with the WEB UI.

So, Please add the feature.

No. You are using other Web UI.

The mldonkey has two WEB UI, doesn't it?

I use the other WEB UI, and on it there is no such tab or button.

There is a reason I don't use the WEB UI you mentioned.

Just take a look up left, there should be a button called "Transfers".

I posted patch 3100 which moves the button as requested.

Yeah, on the WEB UI people is going to download files by choosing one file on 
the search result, so it would be better to locate the button there.

The button you are searching is labeled "Force DL" and can be found on the 
transfers tab. You can also set keep_cancelled_in_old_files false to get rid of 
this function.
Thinking about usability what do you think about moving the "Force DL" button 
to the Search tab?
