Summary:  can not compile 2.05-4 on FreeBSD 4.8

Original Submission:  run ./configure and get the following message:

   Building dependencies fails: try: 'make depend' or 

   'gmake depend'



run gmake depend and get the following message:

   cd config; autoconf

   autoconf: not found

   gmake: *** [config/configure] Error 127
