------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
Your files.ini may be corrupt.

mldonkey should be saving files atomically using something like perl's
IO::AtomicFile for ocaml, because as of now it can corrupt files under many
common circumstances crush, out of space, ...

Summary: Error loading files.ini

Original Submission: The following problem occurs in all versions of mldonkey,
from 1.14 to 1.99Beta8.

There is no difference if i download the binaries or if i compile the sources
my self.

The problem is:
I close mldonkey befare my downloads finish.
When i run mldonkey again i get the following error:
"Error: Exception ml_truncate32: error in ftruncate failed: Argument list
too long during startup"

In versions 1.16 and before mldonkey crashes, in newer versions it will not
crash but i will not be able to connect to any server.
The solution is to delete the files.ini, and loose all the sources.
I am using FreeBSD 4.7RC1
