try to add shared directories which contains good files to
share and check incoming & temp directories.
Adjust download & upload rate to reasonable values (edonkey
servers don't likes mldonkey clients very much...)

Same probleme for me !
Can't connect to any servers whereas ml 1.6 works fine
WTF !
