OK, I will do that... but need to check it works correctly 
(some lablgtk functions are sometimes buggy)

I've found set_locale is provided by Main object.
I think it's all done
to be inserted a line of GMain.Main.set_locale ()
above GMain.Main.init ().
(well, I believe set_locale not called automatically
 after 1.2.0 release of lablgtk.
 seen on mailing list archive.)

I have problem to make patched-ocaml installed.
hope to mldonkey support set_locale by default,
for me not to compile ocaml.patched for myself.
