The only way I know is to boot into os9 and rename the file
then back into x and you will see the file then.
Thats a very bad bug in x!

Hello,
I just downloaded a file with a ö in the name. While
committing the donwload (using cocodonkey), I got the
message :
Error in rename
Sys_error("temp/C0206AEABBFCD066DB55DE1EE12E6501: File
name too long") (src
[temp/C0206AEABBFCD066DB55DE1EE12E6501] dst
[incoming/Raumschiff Voyager - 153 - 7x07 - Körper und
Seele.avi])
Now I cannot see the file in the Finder window, also
when I use "ls", It displays with "?" in the name. Even
"ll -a" makes strange things, and no command is able
able to handle it, "mv", "cp". Therefore, I can only
remove it with the incoming folder :-(
Would it be possible to filter the char problems, or
use the right encoding (which should utf-8) ?
And does anyone a solution to get back my file ?
Thanks
