got a prob again =)
this time, it is html
im running mldonkey on my linux router, and from my windows pc i can control
mldonkey via http (http://192.168.etc :4080)
works fine, but when i try to control it from school or from a friend, it
doesnt work
changed the http_bind_addr often but nothin changed ... also changed allowed_ips
so where do i have to bind the address that i can control it via internet ?
can i use somethin like *.*.*.* ?

You can control MLdonkey from any IP if you set allowed_ips to 255.255.255.255.
255 basically means any IP (more specifically, it matches an IP with any value
in the relevant byte - for instance, you could allow all your intranet to
control your donkey with something like set allowed_ips 192.168.0.255). It
would be a good idea to set a HTTP password then - just in case ;) I have been
able to remotely control MLdonkey via internet this way, and it works like a
charm.
