Did you set allow_ips accordingly to allow the connection to
from box ?

sounds like you experience problems there.

It should be possible to run the core (mldonkey) on one
machine and the gui on another one.
But when I try to connect to the remote (on which
mldonkey is running) nothing happens...
I tried to use the browser interface. On the remote
it's working but when I try to access it from another
pc it rejects my request. Even when I disable the
firewall on the remote nothing happens...
