make sure you use "gmake" on BSD
its a GNU Makefile, and BSD has POSIX make by default.

also dont use the ports, follow the instructions on the
website step by step. otherwise it wont compile.

Hi, i have been trying to use mldonkey on an OpenBSD
3.0 box for a while, emulation of the linux or FreeBSD
won't run right for me and i cant build it, it
complains about the Makefile when i run the final make.

Any tips welcome!
