Hi Mickael,
I would say yes since the PUSH notifications use both an App ID and a server
certificate.
For instance, the Linphone app that you download from the stores is tuned to
work with a Linphone SIP account.

Objet : [Linphone-developers] iOS/Android : Push Notifications
Hi there,
I have been amply informed all day on the problem of incoming calls on
smartphones. Thanks Linphone Wiki.
I have a question though.
Is it mandatory to publish your own App on App Store and Play Store to send
Push Notifications? Or is there another solution that goes through Linphone
servers and uses Linphone Apple certificate?
Thank you for that clarification.
Mickael
