Hi Greg and Dave,
Thank you for your interest in Linphone! It is true that we do not always reply on this mailing list. We are a fairly small company and we mostly rely on the Linphone community to contribute on this free channel whereas we sometimes have to focus on customers under support contracts (and I can see that some contributors are quite active, which is very helpful). Our developers can also fix issues open on our public repositories, but on a best effort basis, and assuming that the bug is easily reproducible and is likely to happen. If you have expertise on SIP/RTP technologies, you may also contribute a patch.
I am sorry that we do not have time to help everyone on this free mailing list, especially in these critical times where so many people need a good softphone for their remote communications.
Best regards,

Um, no one's replied - I can understand that no one is around or interested or perhaps I'm on the wrong list?
I would suggest:
file an issue on the tracker; this seems to get paid more attention to
perhaps fix the bug yourself and submit the code*

Ah - Greg this is precisely what I'm looking for.
I have the Android source code (and quite familiar with it and Android development generally), but/and I think this is a Linphone core issue.
Can I get that source anywhere? From what I can see the "issue" would be in ,LinphoneCoreListener.messageReceived, but I can't "find" the source for this..
My understanding is that all the sources are available from the BCaccount on that gitlab (which is theirs), but I haven't gotten around todoing local builds.(I have also found another problem, with linphone android not playingwell with asterisk, and similarly got zero response on this list.)Also, sorry for the hassle, and thank you very much for taking the trouble to reply..
Not your fault at all :-)_______________________________________________Linphone-developers mailing listaddress@hiddenhttps://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-developers
