Regarding your first problem, i was getting a similar problem with 2 mobile linphone clients once. It was caused by the H264 codec actually. When the codec was downloaded from the app (a previous version of linphone) and one client had the H264 codec embedded, it would give me similar unstable issues. I only limited my observations of the problem to the codec it self tho, i will do more tests.

For the second one, if you only want to transmit the video unidirectionally then you don't really need 2 linphone clients, unless your needs differ. You could try streaming the sdp stream.

Hello.

1) I have a Linux client and Asterisk on the same linux machine. And I have second client (Linphone) on mobile phone (Android) connecting to that Asterisk server. I need to receive video from Linux client on my mobile device.

Video calling with H264 works randomly in that configuration. What I mean is sometimes I can see on my Android Linphone only black screen and video doesn't show up and sometimes it starts but after 10 seconds it freezes and I need to end the call and recall. Where I should look for the problem?

I was trying different fps, video sizes etc. The same configuration works with other Android SIP clients.

2) The second issue is, if I can disable sending video from Linphone, when I am receiving it? So I need video only in one direction.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Maciej.
