Hmmm...that's encouraging.
My experience in testing linphone iPhone against a SIP server configured for
SIP-TCP and RTP-UDP is that everything works fine in the linphone iPhone app
when the transport_preference is UDP -- except that the app doesn't receive
calls when backgrounded. Hence I had assumed that selecting UDP was causing the
SIP socket to switch to UDP also.
