Hi everyone.
We are faced with a performance problem.
We have embedded hardware (vortex86 cpu with 1GHZ and 512 MB Ram). We
want to run linphonec on this device and send a video call to others.
We have added the x264 plugin, but the performance is very bad.
Even with profile=baseline and level=1.1 we have a video delay of 2
seconds and an resulting fps of ~1 Frame :D.
I think the problem is the non existence of MMX and SSE support of the
vortex86 cpu.
Has anyone tried to setup a comparable situation. Maybe someone could
give an advice if this is generally possible or if the hardware is just
to weak for the project.
Thankfully
Alexander
