The tabs audio works without the patch. Guillaume BERAUDO skrev 2011-03-01 11:21:
Hi Martin, Did your Galaxy Tab had the speaker problem before your patch? The patch did not solve the audio problems on the TAB. The mic gets muted. /Martin Guillaume BERAUDO skrev 2011-02-28 10:33:Hello Martin, Thanks for your patch. It is indeed working around the problem. I include it my branch. It will be triggered for galaxyS and your Galaxy tab model. Have you tested also on your Galaxy tab? Maybe it can help in finding a better solution. /Martin Martin Hörlin skrev 2011-02-24 09:48:Hi Guillaume I hadn't noticed that but it looks like you are correct, the mic gets muted on incoming call :/ Guillaume BERAUDO skrev 2011-02-24 09:23:Hi Martin, Thank you for your patch. Unfortunately on my device, while the patch solves the problem with audio routed to the wrong speaker on incoming calls, it mutes the mic. Have you experienced the same problem? Guillaume Le Wed, 23 Feb 2011 16:57:14 +0100, Martin Hörlin<address@hidden> a écrit :Hello everyone, I have experienced a strange problem on my Samsung Galaxy S with the audio routing. The audio gets routed to wrong speakers, especially if you get an incoming call and the phone has been ringing, also the speaker phone button has behaved a bit buggy. The audio routing on the Galaxy seems to require the use of AudioManager.setMode() to work properly, not sure why it is not enough to set the right stream type on the AudioTrack class, this was figured out mostly by experimenting.
