Currently there is no way to do so, but it is a TODO item and a proposed
patch to add this functionality (search for 'per-deplib static'). For
in-tree libraries you could work around it by creating another variant
of the library, with --tag=disable-shared added to its *_LIBTOOLFLAGS.
Note that none of the other deplibs should depend upon the shared
version of the library you're linking statically.
