Someone who may or may not have been me may or may not have temporarily
broken anonymous bzr @ Savannah last night...
However, that is fixed now, and doesn't seem like it has any connection
to the error that you report:

You get this message if you try to run eg `bzr pull' inside a shared
repository, rather than a branch. IIUC, the message is telling you that
/home/hydra/data/scm/bzr/4e01131767709f51050e60a894f06249359df8336adde794c0dfbdb72a0e1661
is not a branch, but a repository. Normally, it would contain
subdirectories that are branches. You need to work in those
subdirectories rather than the top-level directory.
If that doesn't explain it, could you describe the directory set-up more
fully, and what bzr commands were used to create and update it?
