Windows 2000 and XP

How do I get a copy of RCS that works with later versions of windows i.e. XP and 2000?

 

How do incorporate the RCS_SOFTLINKS patch to enable me to pint to a remote folder.

 

I am currently using a version dated 1996 which works with windows 98 but gives an error on xp and 2000
