Hi,

I'm new to Radius and I am trying to setup an authentication server for
a Cisco VPN.

We will be doing PAM-LDAM authentication in a few months, but in the
meantime I want to use the users file to store users profiles.

I try the following:
# cat users
# This is the users database.

denis Crypt-Password = "5171fc512212c4068b214bc4f07883c4",
        Fall-Through = Yes

DEFAULT Service-Type = Authenticate-Only,
        Simultaneous-Use = 1

But the check always give errors:
# radiusd --mode c
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.info: Starting - reading configuration files ...
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.info: reading /usr/local/etc/raddb/config
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.info: ready
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.error: /usr/local/etc/raddb/users:6: parse error
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.error: discarding user `denis'
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.info: /usr/local/etc/raddb/users reloaded.
Jan 18 09:25:08: Main.crit: CHILD: exit on signal (11)
Aborted

I've tried numerous variations with or without commas and apostrophes
but the check is always finding something wrong.

Please help!

Thanks!

Denis

PS: I computed the MD5 password with "echo password | md5sum".
