I'm running emacs 24.4.1, and the transient mark color is a very dark
blue. This makes the highlighted text hard to read.
Id like to redefine the background color something like this:
((transient-mark-mode 1)
(set-background-color "mistyrose")
(set-foreground-color "firebrick"))
but of course this does not work. Short of running PC mode, how can I
change at least the highlighting background color?
