fc-list | grep lucida

does not yield anything.

locate lucida
/home/rkrug/texlive/2011/texmf-dist/tex/context/fonts/lucida-math.lfg

also only the LaTeX font.

My question is: why does emacs-snapshot need lucida, and emacs 23 not? Or did 
it just ignore the
missing font? And: How can I install the font on Ubuntu Precise?
