Gnus/5.110011 (No Gnus v0.11) Emacs/24.0.50 (gnu/linux) |
Setup is on Gentoo linux with emacs version:
GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit,
Xaw3d scroll bars) of
2010-05-22 on reader
I've been fussing with emacs fonts for a few days.
Now even when I start with emacs -Q .
When I look at the font in use with `C-u C-x =' I see a rather hefty
font and even has the character set locale type wrong for me... mine
should be -iso8859-1,
what I see is
-unknown-DejaVu Sans Mono-normal-normal-normal-*-20-*-*-*-m-0-iso10646-1
Where is it getting set?
My .Xdefaults/.Xresources shows:
emacs*font: -dec-terminal-bold-r-normal--14-*-75-75-c-80-iso8859-1
