Cannot Load cua-base

Using GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 on Mac OS X Tiger, I'm getting the following
error, even though the copy and paste processes continue to funtion
with C-c, C-x, C-p.

Error in init file: File error: "Cannot open load file", "cua-base"


I have this in my .emacs file:

(cua-mode t nil (cua-base))

Any suggestions?
