I apologize for these words.  Your proposal was a reasonable one.
Deleting the files in the Git checkout does no harm to IceCat users
because those files are in the Git repository and can be checked out
again easily enough if needed.  The only problem is that it doesn't meet
my preferred requirements as an IceCat developer, which are not
documented, and you would have no reason to know about.  I'm sorry if I
caused any offense.

Thank you for proposing this fix, and for your work on LibreJS.
