Dear Patryk, Richard, and David,

Patryk--Thanks for the link. I will pursue it. It seems more and more
likely that I will have to install llvm. Incidentally, one of the bash
scripts I have tried (and failed with) is on the page entitled "GNUstep
under Ubuntu Linux" available on the GNUstepWiki.

Richard- I would be delighted if you could send the tar image. I can
promise you I will follow it. Cmake makes me crazy.

David- I will try your suggestion very shortly. I did not know this bug was
known.

Thanks to all of you for pitching in on this. I am determined to enjoy the
fruits of 2.0 blocks and the elusive (to this point) @autoreleasepool
directive without having to buy a mac (My wife says I have too many
computers already).

Mark
