Forwarding to the list to make sure the patch is not lost if I delete (or
forget about) the email by mistake
Thanks Tom!, I'll be very interested in looking at the patch ... and I
need to do some more Windows work. I'll probably finish the MinGW stuff
before looking at Cygwin though ... so a bit slowly, but I'll get there.
;-)
Thanks

Subject: gnustep make 1.11.0 patch for cygwin
Hi
I have a set of changes that builds dlls and libs with the correct symbols for
cygwin.
I have had to revert back to the previous framework.make inside the pacage to
get frameworks compiling. (the orginal one is still in the package) I have
modded the configure script to select which one it needs to use based on
target_os
most of the canges are straight forward, and the original code is preserved, I
have just added stuff for cygwin in "if statements". see the patch for
changes.
I have been ables to compile both Gorm and ProjectCenter with these changes to
the makefiles (with minor mods to them... mainly do to frameworks). There are
still some bugs in the apps but they do compile with all needed symbols, and
they do run.
This is my first release of the patch and I am sure that there are things that
can be done better. For now this has the least impact on the makefiles.
please have a look at the patch. I think it should be added to a future release
of Gnustep-make.
If you have any questions please contact me.
