I am Cc:ing the gnustep-dev list because ... I don't know much about
Windows ... but I hope that someone on gnustep-dev can help you better
than me.
As far as I know installing gnustep-make, gnustep-objc and gnustep-base
should not be too difficult on windows. I think they are believed to
work. there are full instructions somewhere :-)
gnustep-gui is a completely different matter.
but yes, I remember reading about an X server running under Windows ...
porting gnustep-gui to run there might be pretty easy ... but it's not a
`real' port to windows ... gnustep applications would not appear as native
windows applications ... to have that you of course would need a Win32
native backend.
anyway I'm not sure anyone has ever attempted such a port (to an X server
running under Windows), so you might need to do some porting/fixing
yourself to have the beast run ...
if other developers have something to say about this, I'd be interested
myself in knowing more about it :-)
