Not easily, but it can say that that may be the case:
Cannot add duplicate of (maybe inactive) substance intake.

Ah, no, I would leave that up to the discretion of the
(properly informed) provider.

Oh, you mean, even after you restart GNUmed and simply
activate that patient all you see is a white rectangle ?
That would also happen if said patient does not have any
medications to be displayed ! (just like with measurements)
What happens if you click the "include inactive" meds ?

By creating an alias you mean adding another name ?
"Making primary" means "making the added name the active name" ?
