I can say the same of Debian (Joey Hess was recent.)
Debian has also has people come and go, see the "Historical
population" chart on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debian. Reference
2003, 2009, 2010. I'm not sure what happened in those years but
perhaps there can be a match with events and the departures of
hundreds of DDs?
