Once again, I totally agree with you and I repeat, till we
fix/focus on our organizational problems, nothing good can emerge
from current development (sorry to think/to say that, it is not
targeted at current active Hurd developers).
In a volunteer project, the only way to improve the organization is if
a person shows up who can, and wants to, play a role in the
leadership.
Hurd-NG consists of some new programs, plus most of the existing Hurd
servers with small changes. For the long term, that's our roadmap to
a system that might really excite people and thus achieve a big
success.
If there is one of you who would like more responsibility in improving
the existing Hurd servers, that could be a way to improve progress
here, using the resources we have, in a way that advances the existing
Hurd as well as contributing to Hurd-NG.
