Reading http://www.gnewsense.org/Documentation/DebootstrappingGNewSense3, I am trying to get a working gNS 3 (x86) from my existing gNS 2.3. Could anyone tell me after fakerooting and setting up the system, which package(s) have to be installed so that I could get a working desktop environment like that in gNS 2.3?
Running 'tasksel' and then choosing "Desktop environment" should get you set up. If not you can try just installing the gnome package.
