Yes, I downloaded wicd from the link Frederico provided above. Before 
installing the downloaded wicd .deb file using "dpkg -i", I installed the 
dependencies listed on http://packages.debian.org/lenny-backports/wicd from the 
gnewsense repository. It is important to install all of the dependencies first 
since wicd replaces WirelessManager.
