But what about flash? Wasn't gnash an Free solution for it? Can't find it in gnewsense :/ !?You can install gnash 0.8.2 via Add/Remove programs but it will not play well because it is an old version. Why can't I find it in the terminal using aptitude? Instead I suggest you to install the newer version gnash 0.8.4. The easiest way to do this is to download the deb packages: http://www.getgnash.org/packages/releases/ubuntu/hardy/Thanks. Wouldn't it be better to include that version in gnewsense? Such an old version could make people walk away after trying gnewsense imo. Is gnewsense btw compatible with Ubuntu Hardy?gNewSense is Ubuntu LTS based (Hardy)._______________________________________________ gNewSense-users mailing list address@hidden <mailto:address@hidden> http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-usersIt's based on Ubuntu Hardy. That's why I removed Intrepid Ibex, and reinstalled good ol' Hardy. I also went to Hardy so I could follow the packaging guides (in Intrepid Ibex they didn't work, the video tutorials were shows things that only work in Hardy "out of the box")mmh gnash doesn't seems to work on www.nos.nl www.youtube.comFor YouTube you can use the Totem Movie Player and its YouTube Plugin The latest release of gnash 0.8.5 plays very well YouTube, but compilations is needed :-/ Not even Jaunty (9.04) has gnash 0.8.5
And installing from Debian experimental? And what about http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/wiki/ ? \r
