Hey Ali,
i typed what you said, in the terminal, and i was told it can't find the
package. i used add/remove feature, did a search for icecat and Gnu Icecat.
Used synaptic manager, did the same thing. nada. no program. no icecat. it
ran off with the icedog?
Don't forget to enable the IceCat software repository which isn't
enabled by default.
"Go to System > Administration > Software Sources, open the Updates
tab and enable GNU Icecat."

didn't see it the first time.
