%%name: PLT Scheme

%%short-description:

Programming environment and tools for programming in Scheme.

%%full-description:

PLT Scheme consists of DrScheme, MzScheme and MrEd. DrScheme is an
interactive programming environment for Scheme programming. It
includes several tools for advanced programmers, as well as many
pedagogically-motivated features that make Scheme easier to learn.
MzScheme is the underlying textual interactive program, which is
especially useful for lightweight scripting. MrEd is a portable
graphical library. PLT Scheme extends the Scheme language with
numerous constructs that are valuable for building realistic systems.
It runs on several versions of the Windows, Macintosh and Unix
operating systems. The PLT Scheme distribution includes several
useful utilities including a Web server with special support for
interactive Web programming.
