This is the first time I hear the term `VAC', so: no.  No idea what
`hook to the program' means in this context.  There are no CVEs for
the current release of FreeType, AFAIK – such a vulnerability might be
the only possibility to inject code into steam (besides bad
programming on the steam side, of course).
