Ok, now I took the time to test if the current version segfaults. It didn't
;))
I just changed my XftConfig to include /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/URW (a link to
the ghostscript font files).
Then I checked out the files tagged VER-2-0-6, compiled and installed them.
Started kwrite. Boom.
Then checked out the current version from CVS, compiled, installed. Started
kwrite. And - works ;-))
BTW: I also wasn't able to produce a SEGV with the ft-demo programs - only
with KDE programs...
